The 'Youths of Asian Origin' continue to rehearse for Jihad in France.
Total number of attacks on police in 2004: 3,842. In 2005: 4,246. Through the first six months of 2006: 2,458. An official from one police union says the “youths” are known to yell “Allah Akbar” while attacking.

Afghani Muslims have kidnapped an Italian journalist and are demanding an exchange for Abdul Rahman. Rahman, you might remember, converted from Islam to Christianity and was promptly sentenced to death by Sharia Law. Italy managed to get Rahman out and offered him sanctuary in Italy.

To be fair, Mozart's Idomeneo had been altered beyond the scope of Mozart's intent in this particular presentation.
In the staging, which sparked audience protests during its premiere in December 2003, King Idomeneo presents the lopped-off heads of Poseidon, Jesus, Buddha and the Prophet Mohammed and displays them on four chairs.
