Hat tip to Mark Faust for this little nugget of information. Meet Dr. Julio Pino. He’s an associate professor at Kent State University in Ohio. It says so right here. He teaches history to Kent students. You know, that objective study of past event, seen through the cold eye of unbiased scholarship? And Kent State [...]

The largest Book Fair in the Arab world is going on in Cairo. What’s popular among the youth? The fair also has its darker sides, with anti-Christian polemics advocating conversion to Islam as the only solution to a flawed religion and of course plenty of editions of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” for sale. “It makes [...]

I received an email today from a friend, circulating the “Obama attended a Wahhabi school in Indonesia” story. As I was writing my reply, I suddenly felt like blogging again. So here’s my email in response. While I’m no fan of Obama, there are some questions about these rumors. Latest indications that while Obama did [...]

Yeah, this weekend has been pretty much nothing but Islam. I’ll move on eventually. As I noted in an earlier post, France is ‘observing’ the one-year anniversary of the incident that prompted unprecedented rioting (and it should be noted the rioting never really ceased, with 100 cars per night torched in France by roving gangs [...]

In case you missed it last week, the highest ranking Muslim in Australia gave a charming sermon last week. “Those atheists, people of the book (Christians and Jews), where will they end up? In Surfers Paradise? On the Gold Coast? Where will they end up? In hell and not part-time, for eternity. They are the [...]

The ‘Youths of Asian Origin’ continue to rehearse for Jihad in France. Total number of attacks on police in 2004: 3,842. In 2005: 4,246. Through the first six months of 2006: 2,458. An official from one police union says the “youths” are known to yell “Allah Akbar” while attacking. Plenty of links to evidence at [...]

A British man was arrested for hanging a banner conveying inflammatory anti-Muslim-Fanatic sentiments from his fence. While his words were crass and in poor taste, isn’t an arrest a little over the top? The words in bold red paint stated: “Kill all Muslims who threaten us and our way of life. Enoch Powell was right.” [...]

Afghani Muslims have kidnapped an Italian journalist and are demanding an exchange for Abdul Rahman. Rahman, you might remember, converted from Islam to Christianity and was promptly sentenced to death by Sharia Law. Italy managed to get Rahman out and offered him sanctuary in Italy. So, the kidnappers are making it pretty clear: Italian Journalist, [...]

We’ve debated the state of Europe and Islamic immigration on this site before, so this piece adds some more information to that debate. Guess how many French Police have been wounded this year in attacks by Muslims living in French cities? Radical Muslims in France’s housing estates are waging an undeclared “intifada” against the police, [...]

To be fair, Mozart’s Idomeneo had been altered beyond the scope of Mozart’s intent in this particular presentation. In the staging, which sparked audience protests during its premiere in December 2003, King Idomeneo presents the lopped-off heads of Poseidon, Jesus, Buddha and the Prophet Mohammed and displays them on four chairs. German critics saw the [...]

Europe, and the West, has lost a treasure. MILAN (Reuters) – Oriana Fallaci, one of Italy’s best-known journalists and war correspondents who shocked the literary world with a vitriolic assault on Islam after the September 11 attacks on the United States, died on Friday aged 77. Fallaci died in her home town of Florence after [...]

Just as I scorn the Islamic world that refuses to condemn evil, I must elevate an Arab Muslim that speaks out. We need more people like this. They must take back their faith from within, and we need to encourage these people to speak while protecting them from harm. WELL, here it is, five years [...]

Today was a strange day for me. Like the rest of the country, I spent considerable time pondering the event that changed the world five years ago. My first thought was that I can honestly say that five years ago, Allah changed my life. Until September 11th, 2001, I thought little of this god, though [...]

I’ve been swimming in the depths of Islamic hatred for non-muslims for way too long now. I’ve been scanning message boards, foreign media, arabic papers, and scholarly works by former Muslims who have fled their former faith. I have no special insight beyond what anyone else can get with enough time and effort. My opinions [...]

Malayasia isn’t likely to maintain itself as a secular state. The idea of a secular state is dead in Malaysia,” says Farish Noor, a Malaysian scholar who specializes in politics and Islam. “An Islamic society is already on the cards. The question is what kind of Islamic society this will be.” …. Muslim prayers are [...]
