The History Channel had a program on this weekend (an older repeat, but new to me) focusing on the 2006 Christie auction of props from the Star Trek universe. The auction was projected to bring in around $3 million dollars, but ended up doing $7+ million with some rather eye-popping final prices on certain items. [...]
