I’m Not Dead Yet

Long time, no blog.

Truth is, I just don’t have the time for it right now.  AudioMonk.com just ‘re-launched’ with a new look, and I’ve been swamped in work up until today.   I certainly can’t complain, but it has been more successful than I had thought possible.  Maybe I’ll be giving up that pizza job soon.

SamanthaSpring is here, without a doubt.

She looks like she is up to something.  It’ll probably be bad for me.

I’ve plowed through a lot of books in the idle moments I manage to shoe-horn in between three different jobs and the occasional sleep.  Charles Stoss is currently wowing me with Glasshouse, Singularity Sky, and Iron SunriseGlasshouse in particular is a book I’d like to heavily endorse.  As usual with Stross, there are more ideas per page than most writers pack into a single book.

On the DVD front, I’ve been slowly picking my way through HBO’s Deadwood.  What a great f*&#ing series if you can f*&#ing all of the f*&#ing swearing.  Seriously, it is great, but the language is some of the most vile stuff I’ve ever heard.  There is a YouTube clip out there (no, I’m not linking) where someone strung together every curse word from one episode.  It runs about 4 minutes and you can almost make out the plotline.

Have fun, and thanks for stopping in.
