Amateur Megalomania

The Nazis loved big things. Big tanks, big guns and big planes, but fortunately for the Allies, their industrial base wasn’t up to the job in the late war. Most of these things never got beyond the planning stage.

Behold, the Landkreuzer. While it is of dubious military value in an increasingly mobile war, you gotta be impressed by the sheer scale of this beast.

The rear-facing turret is sporting a 128 mm cannon.

Note the little man on the turret for a sense of scale. A sharp eye noted this is a spotlight, not a man. (And yeah, the “little” tank is a Maus!).
