While I’ve been off non-blogging, some things have accumulated for posting. None of these really deserve a lengthy post, but they are interesting enough to get mention. I’ll be tossing them up with very little comment. In most cases, the only intent is ‘Hey, isn’t this cool?’.

I’ve had the woodworking itch for about a year now, and my proficiency with a table saw extends to knowing that the spinning thing is really sharp. If I ever do get serious about this latest obsession, I think this technology is worth every penny, even at a steep $2,700. Poke around the site and read the testimony.

Yeah, I’m completely geeking out on the technology. Why not bandsaws, scroll saws, or any other obvious shop equipment? I’ve read that water content in the wood can be a problem, but I’ll bet this will just get better and better over time.
Awesome stuff. Hopefully a universal feature on all tools at some point.
