I gotta wonder what this is about. Is the wearer making a statement? Or, is it just funny? That getup had to cost more than a little bit and had to involve more than a little time. It’s a long way for a laugh, but I’ve often thought or said that it’s never too far to travel for a good laugh. Maybe that’s all this is.
Or maybe this is a statement on Luca$’s latest three creations in the $tar War$ $aga. That is, he turned Vader into a cartoon pansey with origins in the spoiled brat realm. Furthermore, Luca$ dispelled the mystery of the force, turning it into a gift from the Mitaclorians rather than the results of a life of discipline and dedication. Remember the line, “I find your lack of faith disturbing?” Yeah, well, according to Episodes I, II, and III, there was very little faith that went into the development of the man in black. He was apparently just a freakish creation of some viral life-form.
If that’s the case, then I suppose I should applaud the creator of the costume pictured here. It’s certainly a freakish creation. But mostly, I’m offended. What George Luca$ did is not funny. Neither is this.
Wow.

Okay, maybe a little bit.
Chris.
Sounds like there is a whole dissertation in this photograph, if one were inclined to approach it as an item of scholarship.
I’m not biting….
