    Thanks Todd.

    I really took the day off. I didn’t open e-mail or surf the web. I didn’t go to work. I went to lunch with my family and splurged at Cold Stone Creamery afterwards. (Unfortunately, I didn’t find out about the “free creation” until after I got there. They wouldn’t give it to me without a coupon. Still, I think it would be worth it at twice the price.)

    After the ice cream, I built a fire and enjoyed a legal Cuban import* and a couple of legal imports from Ireland. Yeah, a couple. I sat outside in the sunshine enjoying these indulgences and read some of The Dead Zone. What a relaxing day!

    *I’m not sure if it was pre-embargo tobacco or cuban seed. It’s probably the latter. I did some checking around, and the former seems to be quite a bit more expensive than I would want to burn. And frankly, there is some pretty good stuff coming right out of Central America and Connnecticut.
