Another ‘Podcast’

A sort-of podcast…
I’ve been playing around with doing video ‘after action reports’ on my latest Advanced Squad Leader encounters, but the video bandwidth is just way too much. Last night I tried PowerPoint with audio narration and I think this is going to work. It’s about time PowerPoint be used for something useful!
You can find the presentation here. You’ll need either PowerPoint or the PowerPoint viewer, found here. I’m sure there is probably some slick way to make this all self running and extracting, but I’ll figure that out later.
Feedback is very welcome, considering this is a first time try.

Interesting AAR blog…nicely done, looks like it could be presented in a boardroom!
Nice touch adding the tank images, the T-34 image however is the T-34/85 version with the 85mm gun, but that’s just nitpicking I know.
My other hobby is modelbuilding so somewhat of a ‘Tank’ geek as well…

That’s funny. When I Googled the images I grabbed the 85. Later when I put the presentation together I noticed the scenario called for the 76L and I made a mental note to change it. Never got around to it though.
Figures someone in the ASL world would pick that up so quickly.

Great AAR and useful to me (trying to learn ASL so always useful to see how it is played).
Pity you can’t record audio over a VASL log file, but until you can, this is a great medium.
