Couple Of Things
I didn’t have much time this weekend to update the site content, but I did manage to play around with a few blog tweaks that I thought were worth mentioning.
I added a silly ‘Endorsements’ text rotation box, so when people make comments about my Blog, I can slug them in there with attribution. If you want to give me a plug, send it in.
On a more serious note, I discovered Grazr. I follow several blogs through RSS feeds (using Sharpreader), and Grazr lets me easily link in my dailing reading list right on the blog itself. You’ll see it to the lower left. It is like a Blogroll, but interactive. I may actually take down the Blogroll before long and just use this.
Finally, I run across a number of interesting things during the day – things I would like to share even if I don’t have much to say about it. Rather than slugging up a bunch of one line posts, I discovered Del.icio.us. Now, I have a little button on my browser that lets me file away the page I’m interested in, add a few comments, and wait for the magic to happen later. Around midnight, Del.icio.us will compile the days links and post it to my blog automatically. Now you will have a list of quick links each and every morning, along with my usual blathering.
Hopefully, this makes your Todd Wiley experience more entertaining, if that was even possible…
