Years ago, I picked up a copy of Doomed Battalions for ASL and scoffed at the $59 price. It’s a thin box, with 4 maps and the counter mix for the Allied Minors. I wasn’t going to pay that kind of money for minors!
Then the product went out of print. I discovered the Doomed Battalions maps are used for quite a few good scenarios. Suddenly, it was worth buying.
So I started scoping out eBay. Occasionally, a sealed copy would go up for auction, then go well north of $200. $59 seems much more reasonable today.
Well, after three years of searching, I discovered that MMP is finally doing a reprint, available above on the Preorder page. I’ve already ordered my copy.
