Better Posts
One of the problems with not being able to blog much anymore is the loss of opportunity. As time passes, other bloggers usually end up saying what I want to say, only sooner and better.
VodkaPundit has pretty much summed up my perspective on the breakdown of New Orleans. I was fortunate enough to spend a week there back in 1994, and while I can’t say I loved the city, I did experience some of the things that make it so unique.
Now for the really painful part, said not with anger, but with a heavy heart: As sad and awful as it is, Louisiana in general and New Orleans in particular did a lot of this to themselves.
