Movable Type is Evil
OK, after being shut down by my host for trackback spam (500+ spams in a matter of minutes), I started to fiddle with various filters in MT. In trying to upgrade Movable Type, the helpful utter feces of a help file resulted in a completely eradicated blog. I’ve lost ALL entries going back to day one.
So, I’ve yanked Movable Type, and will bash it for the rest of my life. Soon I’ll get around to formating this blog properly, returning it to something more in line with my tastes.
In the meantime, if you are on Movable Type…good luck.

Todd suxors because he can’t manage to use MT.
Just curious, I work with the Movable Type team, and I’d like to understand more about what went wrong for you. If you’re interested (and I understand if you’re not), I’d love to know what version of MT you were on, what process you tried in ugprading, and what happened exactly.
I’m not sure we’d be able to retrieve your posts, but I’d sure like to try, and I’m sorry you had this problem with MT. We’ve got thousands of people using it with no problems, so I know it’s something we can solve.
