So Dan Rather is out. I’m not sure, but wasn’t he going to step down in March anyway? They’re treating this as news, so maybe that isn’t the case. Either way, I hope that the resignation is directly tied to the RatherGate memo. Probably too much to ask for considering CBS STILL has not acknowledge the forgery. Funny how they fire a producer for breaking into CSI and reporting the ACCURATE news that Arafat had died, but Rather and Mapes are still employed for airing the fake news of the forged memos.
